How do you decide who is on your team? Well the answer is pretty simple. When we talk about teams we usually think about the Full Time people, if you have any, or the part time people. Now I want you to expand that thinking to include anyone who is helping you out. Right now I have 2 boys who are in high school (both black belts) helping out in kids classes for community service hours (our high school system requires 40 hours). We are training them to do a good job and I hope they will continue with us and become part of our swat team (continue helping). What about the Mom who helps with parties for the students? YEP, she is part of your team. I am sure you are getting the idea. Build your team. Expand your team, encourage people to help out. Spend time personally showing these people what needs to be done, and make sure it is being done. Having a team, and being part of a team will assure your schools success for years to come. |
