The Headline is the most important part of your ad! It is often called the ad for the ad. If your headline does not grab the attention of the prospect, they will not notice or read your advertising. Back in the early 80's when the Karate Kid came out, you could do just about anything is an ad and people would call your school and come in and join. Your marketing was being done by Hollywood. This was the same back in the early 70's with Bruce Lee on the screen. It didn't matter what you said, or how you said it. It sold. All you needed was the word KARATE and a phone number. Those days my friends are long gone. You need an attention grabbing headline, that does not identify what the flier or ad is about, but makes the prospect want to read on. The name of your school won't do this! What are some great headlines? One of the simplest I used for about 2 years was; Attention Parents!
I think you are getting the idea. What are you trying to get across to your prospective student? Members can watch for a file I will post in the next few days that has about 100 headline ideas in it.
