You are sitting at your desk and the phone rings! You are thrilled to be receiving an INFO Call! You answer the phone and the first thing you hear is "How much are your lessons". You immediately answer this questions and the conversation is over. No new student. This is not always how it goes, but it is often how it goes. Why does the caller immediately ask for rates? Because they don't know what else to ask! So what should you do? First, answer the phone in a very professional manner. Here is an example; Ring, ring; "martial arts build confidence, focus and self esteem in children, thank you for calling art mason's peaceful warriors' martial arts institute how many I help you" The call will then respond, from there you take control of the conversation by asking questions. "is this for yourself or for a child" (example). On this INFO Call don't start to explain your program. The purpose of this call is to make an appointment with the called to come to your school! That is ALL. Don't talk about styles, schedules, prices or anything else. Try to get the apppointment and get off the phone is about 90 seconds. Remember; Use the info call to get the prospect to make an appointment to come to your school! That is all!
