After the appointment comes the first FREE Introductory Class. This 'private' lesson will last 12-15 minutes depending on the child. This is not a place to teach the kids martial arts. I know that sounds strange, but this is were you show them a few, maybe 3 simple techniques, talk about your student creed,a little school etiquette, and show Mom & Dad that they child CAN DO you program.

Set the intro area up so that Mom and Dad are right there, listening to the entire process. Use this time to make their child a star.  After this lesson is finished you have a breif converence with the parents, giving them the tuition price, we do it in writting with an expiry date. Confirm the time for the next intro class and you are finished.

It is also a great idea if possible to introduce your new prospect to the class in session. Introduce them and say that they have done a great job today and completed their first lesson. Watch the parents reaction to this. You will be amazed!

I will continue in the next article with Intro 2
